Types of protective film

Gloss finish on a stone console

Transparent gloss film

A premium protective film with a super-gloss finish that deepens colour and gives the surface a striking shine. Self-healing technology guards against fine scratches, while the hydrophobic layer repels water and dirt and makes care simple. Resistant to fading and yellowing, it keeps a flawless look for years.

Satin finish on a travertine cabinet

Satin film

A protective film with a modern, luxurious satin finish. Self-healing technology removes fine scratches, while the hydrophobic layer repels water and dirt. The film resists fading and yellowing, keeping your furniture elegant for a long time. Satin film is guaranteed to hold its look for years.

Matte finish on a kitchen countertop

Matte film

Dependable protection with a deep matte finish that does not reflect light. The self-healing layer removes fine scratches when warmed, while the hydrophobic coating makes care easier. Protection from fading and yellowing helps keep the rich matte look for years.

Frequently asked questions

Our main goal is “invisible protection”. With a gloss finish the film is practically indistinguishable to the human eye — it only deepens the natural tone of the stone or lacquer.

If you choose a matte or satin finish, the surface takes on a visual silkiness, while the traces of installation remain completely invisible. Edges are cut precisely along the line or carefully folded under the rim, to guarantee a seamless and flawless appearance.

The installation itself is clean, dust-free and odourless. Depending on the size and complexity of the surface, covering an average kitchen island or dining table takes only 2–3 hours. The surface can be used straight away.

Caring for the film is effortless. Thanks to its dirt-repellent properties, in most cases warm water and a soft cloth are all you need. You may use neutral cleaning products, but abrasive pastes and strong solvents should be avoided.

The film has a unique self-healing property. This means that everyday micro-scratches — from moving dishes across the surface, for example — disappear on their own under heat.

The film is, however, not a substitute for a cutting board. A deep cut with a knife will damage the coating itself, but it will most likely protect the natural stone or wood beneath it from irreversible damage. We strongly recommend using a cutting board.

The film is intended for long-term protection, but it can be removed easily if needed. Because we use only high-quality materials, when removed correctly the film leaves no adhesive residue and does not damage the underlying surface. Once removed, your furniture will be in the same flawless condition as on the day of installation.

The film manufacturer provides a 5-year warranty on film installed indoors. The warranty covers yellowing, cracking and spontaneous peeling of the coating.
